The Bailey is a 3/4 bedroom, 2.5 bath custom home in Gulfport’s Oak Landing community. Our New Home Specialist is getting more homebuyers sharing that they would like different cabinet color choices. Based on feedback and an online poll, taupe cabinets paired with an alabaster island were the winning design. Once those were selected, it seemed only natural to complement the colors with rustic features and oil-rubbed bronze finishes.

The exterior of this home has Hardie plank siding in a khaki color, while the shutters are painted “Rosemary” by Sherwin Williams. Pure white trim and gas lanterns add to the vineyard appeal.

As you enter through the solid-iron front door, you’re greeted with a fantastic open concept design. Hand-scraped hardwood floors, crown molding, 8-foot doors, 10-foot ceilings, wood details and lots of windows make the space feel cozy and warm. A stunning fireplace surrounded by stacked stone tile with a rustic mantle sits on a wall with shiplap from floor to ceiling.

The dining room is open to the main area and the entrance is encased in wood stained to match the floors. Large windows and a unique chandelier add to the rustic flair.

As explained previously, the kitchen cabinets are a warm shade of taupe and alabaster, just one of the many choices available from our trade partner, Kith Cabinets. Gorgeous 3cm granite countertops and a glass tile backsplash complete the gourmet kitchen. All appliances are included with the home, including a 5-burner gas cooktop!

The Owner’s Retreat in this home is spacious with recessed lighting, a ceiling fan and a tongue and groove ceiling feature. The hardwood floors extend throughout the room and lead into the spa bath. If you are a person who loves to soak in the tub, this home is for you! The freestanding tub is 6 feet long and 3 feet wide. Not to worry, as our New Home Specialist says, “We will provide a lifejacket at closing.” A custom closet with a linen closet is sure to give you that extra storage you’ve been looking for.

Other features on the main floor include a mud bench and a large laundry room with storage. The covered back porch leads down to the oversized garage and backyard. It’s a great home for entertaining inside and out!

At the top of the stairs on the second floor, you will find a “homework station” with a built-in desk. The bath has an oversized vanity with double sinks. Two more bedrooms and flex space (can be used as a 4th bedroom) complete the second story.
