Community Spotlight-Oak Landing

September 7, 2019

Our New Home Community Spotlight is on our Oak Landing neighborhood in Gulfport, Mississippi. The decision to build custom homes in this Gulf Coast community with gorgeous natural surroundings and convenient location was easy. Bordering Gulfport and Woolmarket, the location is just a mile from Highway 605 and minutes to I-10, the main thoroughfare on the coast.

Named after the many hundred-year-old Oak trees throughout the community, this wonderful new neighborhood has sidewalks, streetlights and underground utilities. There will be green space within, and majestic Oaks are scattered throughout the landscape. Acadian Homes is committed to leaving as many trees as possible.

As you enter the new home community, your eye is immediately drawn to the beautiful entry monument with lush landscaping and gas lanterns. The impressive 400’ feet of brick fencing adds to the grandeur and hints at the stature and quality the homes within.

To further add to the uniqueness of the neighborhood, there are two different style communities within. The Cottages at Oak Landing are designed to pay homage to New Orleans style architecture as you would see in the French Landing Quarter. These homes have gracious porches, gas lanterns, brick and cement board exteriors and rear entry garages or porte-cochere. The details are the perfect mix of southern charm and New Orleans panache.

The second community is The Estates at Oak Landing. These stately homes are a combination of brick and stucco with a courtyard entry garage. These homes are reminiscent of those you would find throughout New Orleans that resemble French Chateau designs. To keep the community both beautiful and interesting, each home built by Acadian Homes is a one-of-a-kind design.
