La Maison Dans Les Chenes (A Home in the Oaks)

The model home in our Gulfport community, Oak Landing, has been designed with a nod to a beautiful chateau one would expect to see on a hillside in France. Our goal was to create an open concept home with a stately feel inside and out. As you drive up to the home you will instantly feel as though it is welcoming you in with its refined architectural style. Adding to the impressive curb appeal is a courtyard entry garage, covered porches including a balcony and an impressive solid iron double entry door.

Inside, the grandeur continues in the voluminous open concept plan. Elegant features were meticulously chosen from the hand-scraped hardwood floors to the solid wood custom cabinets and granite countertops. The kitchen is a chef’s dream with a five-burner gas cooktop and built-in oven and microwave. Homebuyers love that the gourmet kitchen is an included feature in our Oak Landing community!

Our designer chose white shaker cabinets, all with soft close doors and drawers, topped by a fantastic 3cm slab of beautiful granite. The layout of the great room is perfect for entertaining family and friends or a relaxing night in front of the fireplace with a bowl of popcorn and your favorite movie.

Off of the great room, you will find the massive master suite. This bright and airy room has four huge windows to let the light in. Recessed lighting and a ceiling fan keep the space bright and cool in the evenings. You will love entering the master suite through the barn door. The oversized shower has not one, not two but THREE shower systems including a standard showerhead, rain shower head and a hand-held spray system. If you are looking to relax in a hot bath, the free-standing tub is perfect. Finishing up the bath are His & Her master closets with custom built-in shelving.

The remaining rooms include three more spacious bedrooms, one that leads onto the balcony an area perfect for a home office or game room for the kids. Two more full baths with custom cabinets and granite countertops along with lots of storage space and a laundry room with cabinet storage and a folding station.
